Kroger 6/13/11

Just a quick trip today to pick up a few things I wanted before the sales switch over.  I am  not shopping Kroger as much since they stopped doubling/tripling coupons, but I did have a few for this trip.

CVS 6/10/11 -- Here we go!

So with all the attention from the new TLC show, there has been a lot of focus on couponing. I have been couponing for several years now, but want to "step up my game". In an effort to track my savings, I am starting this blogg to showcase my trips.
Here's the breakdown:
Transaction #1:
1 Huggies Pullups $8.99 - $2 IP = $6.99 received $2 ECB
1 Revitalens Solution $8.99- $2 (RP 5/22) = 6.99 received $3 ECB
OOP $15.14 received $5 ECB

Transaction #2:
10 M&M $2.50 - $5.50 (4 $1/2 tearpad & 1 $1.50/2 RP 5/22)
1 Hefty trash bag $6.99 - .55 (RP 4/10)
Used: $5/$20 CVS coupon from 6/9 Houston Chronicle
$1 ECB
$4 ECB
$5 ECB (from transaction #1)
OOP $11.84 PLUS $10 Shell gas card

Total OOP for this trip = $26.98 for $48.45 of merchandise for a 56% savings!!

Not bad for a first documented trip...it can only get better :)
